16th Birthday Road Trip **No Parents**

You guys know that I just turned #16, right?? This year, all that I wanted for my birthday was to go on a #road #trip with my sisters and friends! We decided to make it a little bit more interesting by using ONLY an atlas, and NO GPS! 😳 How do you guys think we did?? There ended up being a lot of people who were down to go on this adventure for my birthday, so we wanted to split up into 2 groups and make it more of a race! My mom put together an “Amazing Race” style challenge for us, to see which group could make it to our destination first! My car was me, Brooklyn, my cousin Carlie, and my friend Lia. The other car (our competition) was Bailey, my cousin Preston, and my friends Lily and Kenni! My mom set up the race so that we had to make it to certain stops in order to get a clue for the next stop! We weren’t even sure exactly where we were going to end up, but that honestly just added to the fun! The hardest part was just trying to get from place to place using an ATLAS! We’ve grown up in a time where GPS has just always been an option, so it’s such a learning curve to try to make it to another state without a voice telling you exactly where to turn! 😂 When we actually made it to our destination in Arkansas, we were SO excited because it was literally like a treehouse/cabin suspended over a cliff on a mountain… WIth an AWESOME view! The inside was also super cute and cozy inside, it was seriously so cool! My car ended up getting there first, so we WON the race (we didn’t actually win anything but bragging rights- but my family is so competitive that that’s more than enough for us)! 😂 Do you think that you could ever get around using only an atlas??
